Savannah, GA—Coleman Company, Inc., one of the Savannah Region’s leading firms for Civil Engineering, Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Land Surveying, is pleased to announce the addition of Donald Brown, PE CPESC, MCE, as Director of Municipal and Industrial Infrastructure.
With over 20 years of experience in the civil engineering field, Brown has mastered overseeing projects from initial planning through construction. His career encompasses a diverse portfolio, including turn-key design-build projects, rail infrastructure, stormwater management systems, wastewater treatment design, and regulatory permitting across the United States.
Donald’s expertise lies in designing infrastructure such as rail spur tracks, logistical warehousing facilities, roadways, and water and sewer systems. His extensive knowledge extends to coordinating with state Departments of Transportation, environmental regulatory agencies, and city and county municipalities nationwide. Additionally, he has experience securing right-of-way access and utility easements for railroads, pipelines, and other major projects.
A graduate of Norwich University with a Master of Civil Engineering, Donald is a licensed Professional Engineer in over 20 states, holding certifications in erosion, sediment control, and soil conservation. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP), Water Environment Association of South Carolina (WEASC) and the Environmental Water Resources Institute (EWRI).
